many years the only way of writing was using ink
and some sort of paper. Now, in the information age new
methods of writing have emerged. Digital laser ink has
emerged to concentrate information in a very small area.
For this reason Midad was established to document using
the ink of the age. Programming the outcome of the age
and squeezing it onto laser CDs (or what ever emerges).
The goal being to document, save and publish the outcome
of the age and provide it to the public in an affordable
manner. This is why Midad means the "good words
written with light"
Objectives:
The objectives of Midad are:
- The preservation of
the heritage of Islamic sciences
- Documenting the
outcome of the age of the Islamic sciences.
- Publishing useful
sciences to be available to the public for a
affordable price.
Methods:
To achieve its objectives, Midad uses various methods :
- Using latest
technologies in multimedia and compression.
- Cooperating with
scholars from Al Azhar Al Sharif.
- Obtaining licenses
for all the software from Al Azhar Al Sharif after
being revised by its scholars .
- Keeping a moderate
track to show Islam in its brightest state.
Establishment
In 1420 h (1999AD) Midad was established as the
multimedia production sector of Middle East Systems
S.A.E. The later being specialized in e-commerce,
e-business, intranets.
Middle East Systems S.A.E. has established one of the
largest customer bases in its field in Egypt.
